What is the melhfa?
Melhfa is a derivative of the Arabic word "lahafa" meaning to cover, to wrap. It is a piece of cloth measuring approximately 3.50 m that wraps around the body from head to toe, the melhfa were once mainly worn by women of the Sahara for protection from the heat.
Today, La melhfa is modernizing ... It is now available in different colors, from melhfa to solid colors, with tie and dye effect, there is something for everyone!
The melhfa is also called "dampé"
